"The purpose of this paper is to survey the history, development and present status of newspaper libraries in Florida. The writer's choice of this subject has grown out of an interest in both journalism and library science and previous experience on a Florida newspaper. In gathering information for this survey, the writer visited three of the newspaper libraries and personally interviewed the librarians.
