The thesis is focused on the development of unemployment in the Czech Republic and in Kuřimsko. Part of this thesis is a brief analysis structure of job seekers. The thesis i also focused on labor market including structure of employment. Another part of the thesis is demographic developments in the region Kuřimsko. Part of this thesis is a comparative analysis of unemployment in the Czech Republic and in Kuřimsko and thein predictions for the following years. The conclusion includes suggestions and recommendations for improving the situation in the region.
