Thesis evaluates the financial situation of furniture company JELÍNEK - výroba nábytku s. r. o. during the reference period 2010-2014. The first part discusses the theoretical bases of financial analysis. In the second part is elaborated the financial analysis. Horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements and analysis of differential and financial ratios were excuted. Fundamental characteristics of time series are applied on selected fundamental characteristics. The economic situation of the company, its development and future prediction of the situation is evaluates. Based on the findings specific solutions are developed to improve the financial situation.
