Diploma thesis evaluates drawing subsidies from EU in the LAG Živé pomezí Krumlovsko-Jevišovicko region in programming period 2007 - 2013. It examined how successfully realized projects have an impact on the regional development. The thesis analyzes the area of interest pursuant statistics and questionnaire survey among local actors. The thesis defines problems which impede further development. The thesis shows the role of the LAG in rural development and delineates the space of activity in future given the adjustment of subsidy programs in the next programming period.
