Abstract The study's focus is on the social network for people with addictions and mental illness. The study aims to investigate how social network creates conditions for the sensibility of coherence and experiences of exclusion. So here we would like to describe social networks in our own words: "Without each other we are nothing and we all need someone to care about." When an individual is socially vulnerable will be the social networks even more necessary The study contributes to the understanding of how it is to be socially vulnerable and what difficulties an individual may face in their daily lives and the importance of supportive relationships to facilitate life, experience well-being and prevent alienation. The study is based on interviews with guests from the NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) meeting points.
