To examine the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and other jurisdictions concerning education through the wording of the statutes and through a study of any factors of common law and/or appellate court decisions which might have an effect upon the interpretation of the statute and/or common law in Massachusetts. B. To synthesize these statutory and/or common law rights or duties, illustrated by court decisions, into a work which will assist school committees and their employees to make on-the-job decisions concerning matters which arise in the course of their daily work and which carry such immediate urgency that they cannot be referred to a legal advisor for an opinion.
