The diploma thesis deals with the protection of competition in the Czech Republic with a focus on telecommunications. The literature research describes in imperfectly competitive markets, competition, telecommunications sector and forms of his regulation and legislation in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The own part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the competitive environment of the telecommunications market and regulator measures in the Czech Republic.
