The thesis focuses on the process of selection and implementation of a shift scheduling IT imformation within a particular organisation. It consists of two parts, theory and practice. The theoretical part specifies basic work-related terminology. The practical part provides analysis of the current status, solution proposal, assessment and a description of implementation of a system scheduling shifts of the organisation´s employees
