Socialt stöd på arbetsplatsen : Hur man förbättrar den sociala arbetsmiljön från ett HR-perspektiv

An employee who experiences a substandard working environment risk suffering from ill health and various occupational injuries. To maintain a good psychosocial work environment, the Work Environment Agency, Arbetsmiljöverket, has issued regulations on, among other things, organizational and social work environment as well as systematic work environment work as a supplement to the Work Environment Act, Arbetsmiljölagen. The employer works with the help of a safety representative, alternatively a safety committee, according to the Work Environment Agency's well-designed guidelines to maintain a satisfactory psychosocial work environment. Previous research shows that it would be naive to think that we could map all the factors that affect the work environment, but the purpose of this study is to focus on factors that can positively affect the social work environment. More concretely, the essay will focus on the importance of social support, which includes the opportunity to create social relationships with coworkers and managers in the workplace that you can confide in and receive support and encouragement from. Social support in the workplace increases employee motivation and job satisfaction, and research shows that a lack of social support can lead to several illnesses, such as mental illness. To be able to answer the question about how much of an impact social support has on the workplace, I have carried out a thorough quantitative investigation using both concrete statistics and current law.
