In jurisprudence, a lot has happened with the women´s peace laws since 18th century. Empirical material from four criminal convictions from the 18th, 19th and the 21st centuries has been studied and comparisons have been made between now and then regardin this crime. When you look at the crime of rape, it has a history that shows that there has been low acceptance of this type of crime, but the degree of acceptance has varied over time depending of the living conditions and norms that have existed in society over the time.
