Diploma thesis is dealing with specifics of internalization process of SME in two European countries. The main goal of this thesis is to compare these specifics. To meet this goal it is necessary to evaluate and compare primary data from Czech and Slovenian enterprises, which were acquired from questionnaire survey. In this thesis there are also identified motivating factors of entrance into the foreign markets, forms of entrance into these markets and barriers of the internalization.
