Child poverty A complex word and phenomenon This study was aiming to analyze living in a family with poor economic resources and what the consequences might be for the children by a perspective from a socialworker. The theories that was used in this study were social exclusion and the model of Bronfenbrenner. The study was a qualitative study and the interview methods have been focusgroup and two separate interviews. The social workers in the study describes that the children of the family with an economic exposure do get affected. The ways they got affected were both psychical and psychological, and also in both shortterm and in longterm. The children usually have a lack of social network and possibilities for participating in activities in school and after school. To be living in an economic deprivation shows a stagnation for upcoming generations.
