The topic of this paper is job satisfaction within social services. More specifically is the purpose of this paper to investigate which factors that do affect job satisfaction for the staff within the departement of finacial aid. The base for this study has been a qualitative method where I have made four semistrucked interviews with staff within the department of financialaid in a local municipality in Sweden. Herzberg's two factor theory has been the base for my study. This is a well established theory when reseachers want to investigate job satisfaction.The result shows that the work itself, the leadership and social interactions are factors that do affect job satisfaction for the straff within the departement of finacial aid.
