This study's purpose is to examine how female sportswriters representation in physical space and as regards content has evolved over a period of ten years in the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladets sports printed supplement Sportbladet. The history of female sportswriters in press all over the world seems to have been largely outnumbered despite the fact that the practitioners of sports is very similar numerically. To investigating this matter, a content analysis was made on 30 printed papers from each year of 2006 and 2016. The results showed that female sportswriters in Sportbladet had made some significant differences in the regard of increasing their representation in both physical space and what type of journalistic work they were assigned to under this period.
