Dramaturgické aspekty vývoja divadelného jazyka v západnej kultúre. / Dramaturgical Aspects of Theatre Language Developement in Western Culture

Diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of theatre language, mainly
its Western style which is basic instrument of understanding the world of theatre
of a Western theatre maker. Relations between codification, conventions and
poetics are described.
Through model of dynamic relations between Eastern and Western
theatre it tries to analyze dramaturgically and name the specifics of European-
Western type of theatre practice and Western culture itself.
Moreover, thesis finds its topic in intercultural tendencies in mutual
influences of Western and Eastern theatre traditions in 20th century, it introduce
main theatre artists of this movement, who are also protagonists of theatre
anthropology.
