Globalization is a phenomenon that is largely affecting the world we live in today, thus making constant meetings and communications between different cultures possible and necessary in order to exchange valuable information. But different cultures have different values and mindsets, which are manifested through the members of each culture. My study focuses on how various members from different cultures adapt in a foreign cultural environment and how the meetings with members of a foreign culture have for role when it comes to affecting their way of communication. In my study I have conducted an interview based study on international students that have a temporarily stay in Sweden for studies and results show that individuals that experiences cultural differences change and adapt their way of communicating, and the more cultural differences they experience the heavier the impact on their own adaptation and change.
