The thesis is dedicated to the topic of human resources management in a local branch of an international non-profit organizaction AIESEC. The goal of the thesis is to eveluate personnel activities in the branch and to suggest general solutions for the improvement of the activities. The analysis is based on a set of indicators that are created by the author to evaluate performance in three key groups of personnel activities: acquisition of human resources, retention of human resources and performance of human resources. The end results are negative for the organization in all of the three key activities. The organization is in a high risk of becoming unsustainable. Therefore the research digs deeper into the roots of the problems and finds out reasons why members leave organization, what members value the organization for the most and where lies the problems of low performace. At the end the author suggests several ways of improving the situation: real-value-based recrutiment, member satisfaction measurement, expection setting with candidates, internal promotion and culture building, changes in knowledge management, change of organizational structure and training and mentoring programme for team leaders.
