Orientador: Nilson Ghirardello / Banca: Marta Enokibara / Banca: Maria Encarnação Beltrão Sposito / Resumo: A presente dissertação de mestrado tem como objetivo estudar o alvorecer urbano de Presidente Prudente desde sua formação urbana, analisando as características naturais, implantação de infraestrutura, traçado urbano e sua expansão até a década de 1930, além do contexto da região prudentina em relação ao estado no século XIX e XX. Este trabalho, portanto, é formado por três capítulos: o primeiro trata da ocupação do Estado de São Paulo através dos mineiros, a consolidação dos patrimônios, o protagonismo do ciclo econômico do café e o subsequente desenvolvimento das estradas de ferro, explana-se sobre a constituição urbana paulista contemplando Patrimônios Religiosos, Patrimônios Laicos e Loteamentos Privados, pontuando a importância da Lei de Terras e destaca a região denominada Vale do Paranapanema e Alta Sorocabana, respectivamente no século XIX e XX, zona do interior paulista, onde situa-se Presidente Prudente e como se deu o processo de parcelamento do solo rural provenientes das fazendas Pirapó-Santo Anastácio e Fazenda Mont'Alvão e os objetivos dos principais agentes da especulação fundiária nos primórdios da cidade: Coronel Francisco de Paula Goulart e Coronel José Soares Marcondes; o segundo capítulo abrange a gênese prudentina até a criação do município, contemplando informações referentes às características naturais existentes antes da ocupação, a influência da ferrovia na formação e consolidação urbana, o processo de fundação e parcelamento dos loteamentos pertencen... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This master's thesis aims to study the urban dawn of "Presidente Prudente" since its urban formation, analyzing the natural characteristics, the implantation of infrastructure, the urban route and its expansion until 1930, besides the context of the region "prudentina" in relation to the state in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This work, therefore, is made up of three chapters: the first deals with the occupation of the State of "São Paulo" through the miners, the consolidation of the patrimony, the protagonism of the coffee economic cycle and the subsequent development of the railroads, explana the urban constitution of "São Paulo" contemplating Relief Heritage, Lay Parcels and Private Lots, emphasizing the importance of the Law of Lands and highlights the region called "Vale do Paranapanema" and "Alta Sorocabana", respectively in the 19th and 20th century, in the interior of "São Paulo", where the "Presidente Prudente" and how the land parceling process came from the "Fazenda Pirapó-Santo Anastácio" and "Fazenda Mont'Alvão" farms and the objectives of the main agents of land speculation in the early days of the city: "Coronel Francisco de Paula Goulart" and "Coronel José Soares Marcondes"; the second chapter covers the Phoenician genesis until the creation of the municipality, including information on the natural characteristics existing before the occupation, the influence of the railroad in the formation and urban consolidation, the process of foundation and parc...
