The aim of this diploma thesis is to map the potential impacts of Industry 4.0 on agricultural employment – in a context of the labour market and human resources management. The theoretical part focuses on the knowledge of the entire Industry 4.0 concept, its history and possible future impacts/transfers especially in the agriculture field. The following part is dedicated to the situation on selected farms and opinions of farm managers, agricultural advisors and directors of secondary agricultural schools on the issue. Based on the analysis of primary data was revealed that currently there is a big lack of workers which is one of the main reasons why farm managers are prioritizing automate/robotize production. In the final part of the thesis is discussed gained knowledge and recommendations for farm businesses and secondary agricultural schools in a manner of using new technologies and possible impacts of automatization, robotization and digitalization on employment itself.
