The diploma thesis is focused on possible attitudes of the management of foreign exchange risk in industrial companies in the South Moravian Region. The theoretical part specifies the basic terminology associated with management of foreign exchange risk. The practical part analyzes if it is appropriate for companies to hedge by financial derivatives in long-term horizon. This part also describes current situation in area of volatility of exchange rates in industrial companies in the South Moravian Region. Thanks to analysis it is possible to formulate recommendations and proposals for these companies.
