Investigating sustainable environmental design strategies into the architectural curriculum : a case study of the Tshwane University of Technology.

Architectural Technology / There is currently a substantial shortage of a trans-disciplinary generation of architectural graduates, competent to produce sustainable buildings, in the rapidly evolving 'green' South African construction industry. The purpose of this study is to explore the potential for the incorporation of Sustainable Environmental Design strategies, and the elements associated with the new government legislation regarding energy usage in buildings, into the architectural curriculum at the Tshwane University of Technology.
