Struktura a vývoj nákladů výkrmu prasat v ČR

The diploma thesis deals with the profitability of pig farming in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the individual cost items and techniques of pig-breeding which may affect the cost of agricultural producers. The practical part summarizes trends in pig farming in the Czech Republic with a focus on the development of price levels, especially those of agricultural producers, as an incentive to the production of meat stock -- pigs. The other parts of this work is focused on analysis of the development and the structure of pig fattening as well as swine-breeding costs. The cost analysis of piglets and pork meat is evaluated through of production intensity which is also compared within the selected European countries. Further, the work deals with the feed costs, while its impact on the overall production cost is demonstrated on a model example.
