Previous issue date: 2009-03-16 / The city of Anapolis / GO has an approximate area of 140 km ², representing 15% of the total area of the municipality, which covers 918 km ². The city located 57 kilometers from Goiânia and 160 km from Brasília, the call Mesoregião Center Goiano, its population is approximately 326 thousand inhabitants. The research direction was to the urban area of Anapolis, specifically in the basin of the stream Góis, which is inserted fully within the boundaries of the city. Located in the southern portion, Góis of the basin covers an area of approximately 11.18 km2. About 25% of the whole area of the basin is covered by forests and pasture. The Stream Góis crosses thirty-two neighborhood in the city center and converge with the stream of Antas, its main tributary is a stream of water eyes. The basin consists of mainly residential buildings, but in the neighborhoods that border the BR-060 and Avenue Brazil South, there are several machanical workshops, however there are other types of economic activities such as trade and regional services for medium and large. By the end of 2007 the resident population in the basin was approximately 37,842 inhabitants. The assessment done to check the water quality of the stream Góis were based on ten different physico-chemical parameters, to determine its relationship with the use and occupation of land. The collections of water occurred in February and September 2007, were selected for this four points within the perimeter of the basin, the criteria for selection of these points were: Possible environmental degradation, forms of use and occupation, effluents and tributaries. The results indicated a somewhat severe contamination in 1 and 2 and more pronounced in 3 and 4. Stream Góis is based, according to CONAMA Resolution 357/05, in Class II. / A cidade de Anápolis/GO possui uma área aproximada de 140 Km², representando 15% da área total do município, o qual abrange 918 Km². A cidade dista 57 Km de Goiânia e a 160 Km de Brasília, na chamada Mesoregião do Centro Goiano, sua população é de aproximadamente 326 mil habitantes. A pesquisa teve como direção a área urbana de Anápolis, mais especificamente na bacia hidrográfica do córrego Góis, que está inserida totalmente no perímetro da cidade. Localizada na porção sul, a bacia do Góis abrange uma área de aproximadamente 11,18 km2. Cerca de 25% de toda área da bacia é recoberta por matas e pastagem. O Córrego Góis atravessa trinta e dois bairros mais o centro da cidade e conflui com o ribeirão das Antas, seu principal afluente é o córrego Olhos d´água. A bacia basicamente é constituída por edificações residenciais, porém nos bairros que margeiam a BR-060 e Avenida Brasil Sul, existem várias oficinas mecânicas, entretanto existem outros tipos de atividades econômicas, como comércio e serviços regionais de médio e grande porte. Até o final do ano de 2007 a população residente na bacia era de aproximadamente 37.842 habitantes. A avaliação feita para verificar a qualidade das águas do córrego Góis foram baseadas em dez diferentes parâmetros físico-químicos, objetivando verificar a sua relação com o uso e ocupação do solo. As coletas de água ocorreram nos meses de fevereiro e setembro de 2007, para isto foram selecionados quatro pontos dentro do perímetro da bacia, os critérios para seleção destes pontos foram: Possível degradação ambiental, formas de uso e ocupação, efluentes e tributários. Os resultados indicaram uma contaminação pouco severa nos pontos 1 e 2 e mais acentuada nos pontos 3 e 4. O córrego Góis enquadrou-se, segundo a resolução CONAMA 357/05, na classe II.
