Sammanfattning Bakgrund: En uppföljning av strokevård i Sverige har visat brister vad gäller rehabiliteringsinsatserna. Dessa bör vara intensiva, upprepade och ges på alla vårdnivåer av många professioner. Relevant hälso- och välfärdsteknik (HVT) för stöd i arbetet eller för att underlätta strokerehabilitering finns sällan att tillgå och nationella riktlinjer för strokevård nämner inte hur HVT skulle kunna stödja rehabilitering av strokepatienter. Forskning kring erfarenheter av HVT hos rehabiliteringspersonal som träffar strokepatienter i sitt dagliga arbete är mycket begränsad. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka erfarenheter av HVT hos legitimerad rehabiliteringspersonal som arbetar med strokepatienter i en mellansvensk region. Metod: För att uppnå syftet med studien valdes en kvalitativ design med induktiv ansats. Ett ändamålsenligt urval av fem informanter gjordes med vilka semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes. Intervjuerna transkriberades och materialet analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ induktiv innehållsanalys. Resultat: Resultatet av analysen visade på ett tema, Att arbeta under etisk stress, bestående av fyra kategorier med tillhörande underkategorier vilka lyfte fram olika aspekter av informanternas erfarenheter av HVT. De fyra kategorierna var HVT har stor potential, HVT finns men är inte tillgänglig, Tekniken ställer krav och Splittrat ansvar för frågor om HVT. Slutsats: Studien bidrar till ökade kunskaper om erfarenheter av HVT hos rehabiliteringspersonal inom strokevården i Mellansverige. Resultatet visar att det finns många fördelar med HVT, att tekniken inte är tillgänglig på arbetsplatsen, att tekniken ställer olika krav men att ledningen inte tar ansvar för dessa frågor. Dessa erfarenheter tolkas som att informanterna arbetar under etisk stress. These shuold be intense, repeated and given in all levels of the health care system from many professionals. Relevant health- and welfare technology (HWT) for support in work or facilitation of strokerehabilitation is rarely available and the national guidelines for stroke care are not mentioning how HWT could support rehabilitation of stroke patients. Research regarding experiences of HWT in rehabilitation staff, who meet strokepatients in their daily work, is very limited. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate experiences of HWT in registered rehabilitation personnel who work with stroke patients in a region in the middle part of Sweden. Method: To meet the aim of the study, a qualitative design with inductive approach was chosen. A suitable sample of five informants was made with whom semi-structured interviews was performed. Interviewes were transcribed and the material was analyzed with qualitative content analysis. Results: The analysis resulted in the theme To work under ethical stress, including four categories and associated sub-categories who highlighted different aspects of the informants’ experiences of HWT. The four categories were HWT has great potential, HWT exists but is inaccessible, Technology comes with requirements and Fragmented responsibility regarding HWT- questions. Conclusion: The study contributes to increased knowledge regarding experiences of HWT in rehabilitation personnel within stroke care in the middle part of Sweden. The result shows that there are many advantages with HWT, that the technology is inaccessible at the workplace, that technology comes with different kinds of requirements but that the management does not take responsibility for these questions. These experiences are understood as if the informants are working under ethical stress.
