This thesis deals with relations of the European Union and Israel at present. First, it defines the basic historical events and contracts that have formed the current relationships and reveals the mutual challenges of these economics. It also analyzes Israel’s current economic situation and the challenges which Israel is facing to. Consequently, it analyzes and clarifies the European Union’s external trade with Israel and subsequently between Israel and selected trading partners. The total share of Israeli trade is compared among these economies so as export and import development. Last but not least, the predictions of the development of commercial relations of selected actors with Israel are discussed.
