Title page, table of contents and abstract only. The complete thesis in print form is available from the University of Adelaide Library. / Employing a combination of ethnographic and clinical methodology, this study aims to explore the psychocultural dimensions of recovery from first episode psychotic illness in a Javanese setting, specifically Yogyakarta.
