La presente investigación “Percepción de los pacientes del Programa de Control de Tuberculosis acerca del cuidado que brinda el personal de enfermería en el centro de salud Carlos Protzel, Comas – Lima 2010”, surge de la necesidad de conocer como los pacientes perciben la labor del cuidado del personal de Enfermería en el Programa de Control de Tuberculosis, dada su importancia en el ejercicio profesional de Enfermería, porque proporcione verdaderamente un cuidado humanizado y holístico a los pacientes con esta enfermedad, debido que no solo repercute en el aspecto físico, sino en todas las dimensiones de la persona, por cual debe ser considerada como tal y no como un objeto al cual solo se le administre medicamentos.
Por ello se planteó como objetivo principal: Determinar la percepción que tiene el paciente acerca del cuidado brindado por el personal de enfermería en el Programa de Control de la Tuberculosis; siendo el propósito brindar información actualizada y fructífera al personal de enfermería, que contribuya en su labor cotidiana, para planificar y ejecutar un cuidado verdaderamente humanizado, considerando al paciente como un ser holístico, en beneficio a los pacientes que padecen de tuberculosis pulmonar.
El diseño metodológico fue de carácter cuantitativo, la muestra fue de 40 pacientes entre 19 y 60 años; como técnica se utilizo la encuesta, basada en una escala likert modificada de 40 enunciados, con tres alternativas de respuesta.
Entre las consideraciones finales se tiene que el cuidado de enfermería debe ser caracterizado por ser un cuidado eminentemente holístico y humanizado,considerando a la persona en todas sus dimensiones, aun más en los pacientes con tuberculosis, por ser una enfermedad que va más allá de la sintomatología clínica, afectando los aspectos espirituales y socioculturales, De allí, que le profesional de enfermería debe idear e incorporar nuevas estrategias de atención para suplir todas estas necesidades insatisfechas en los pacientes, contribuyendo de esta manera a una mejor recuperación de la salud, evitando la incidencia de casos de abandono o fracaso del tratamiento.

For it it appeared as principal aim: To determine the perception that the patient has brings over of the care offered to the personnel of Nursing in the Program of Control of the Tuberculosis; being the intention to offer updated and fruitful information to the personnel of Nursing, which he contributes in his daily labor, to plan and to execute a really humanized care, considering the patient to be a holistic being, in I benefit the patients who suffer from pulmonary tuberculosis.

Between the final considerations there is had that the care of Nursing must be characterized for being a care eminently holistic and humanized, considering the person in all his dimensions, furthermore in the patients with tuberculosis, for being a disease that goes beyond the clinical symptomatology, affecting the spiritual and sociocultural aspects, Of there, that of Nursing it must design and incorporate new strategies of attention to replace all these unsatisfied needs in the patients, contributing hereby to a better recovery of the health, avoiding the incident of cases of abandon or failure of the treatment.
