La brucelosis canina es una enfermedad infecciosa, causada por "",ce`a canis, que se caracteriza por la presentación de diversos transtornos reproductivos. El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la prevalencia de brucelosis canina en los distritos de Bellavista y Callao. Con este fin, se recolectaron 456 sueros de perros provenientes de estos dos distritos, que fueron utilizados en la prueba de Inmunodifusión en Agar Gel (IDGA) con antígeno de B.ovís. Con la prueba utilizada se encontró una prevalencia de 15.57% (711456), con un IC de ± 3.33%. Además, no se encontró diferencia estadística significativa entre los porcentajes de positivos por las variables distrito, sexo, raza ni grupo etáreo, pero si se encontró diferencia estadística significativa al evaluar la variable historia reproductiva. Mediante la prueba de Chi cuadrado, solo se encontró asociación estadística significativa entre la variable historia reproductiva y la tasa de infeccíón. Estos resultados demuestran que existe una prevalencia considerable de esta enfermedad en los caninos de estos dos distritos, lo que debe revestir especial importancia al tratarse de una enfermedad zoonófica. / Canine brucellosis is an infectious disease, caused by Brucella canís, that generally affects, the reproductive tract. The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of canine brucellosis in two districts, Bellavista and Callao. In order to achieve this goal, 45 of dogs of these two, districts, were collected and analyzed using Agar Gel Immuno diffusion (AGID) test with B.ovis antigen. The results indicate that 15,57% (711456), with an Icí 3,33%, of the sampled animais were positive in this test. Among the variables considered in this study, significative stadistic difference in the percentages of positive dogs, was found only in the case of reproductive history. Evaluating the same variables with Chi cuadrado, there was sígnificative stadistic 3.sso( only between reproductive history and the ratio of infection. These results show a considerable prevalence of this disease in the canine population of these two districts. This should be particularly important due to the zoonotic characteristics of the disease
