El presente trabajo de investigación se ha realizado teniendo en cuenta el Reglamento de Grados y Títulos de la Escuela de Pre Grado de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, con la finalidad de obtener el título de Médico Cirujano.
Objetivo: La investigación estuvo orientada a identificar las complicaciones de la colecistectomía laparoscópica en pacientes que se atendieron en el servicio de cirugía 6-II del Hospital Arzobispo Loayza en el periodo comprendido entre el 01 de enero de 2007 al 31 de diciembre de 2009.
Muestra: La muestra seleccionada fue de 289 pacientes.
Instrumentos: Los instrumentos empleados estuvieron conformados por fichas de recolección de datos elaborada para los fines de estudio, se analizó la asociación de las variables a través de la prueba chi cuadrado, asimismo la fuerza de asociación con OR, se consideró α: 0,05.
Tipo de Estudio: Observacional.
Diseño de investigación: Descriptivo transversal
Resultado: Se encontró que el 78.5% de los pacientes fueron mujeres y el promedio de edad del total fue 46.2±14.6 años. Las complicaciones se presentaron en el 8.3% de los casos, siendo los mas frecuentes el sangrado de lecho vesicular (6.55%) y la lesión vascular (1.05%). La colecistitis aguda estuvo relacionada significativamente (p menor que 0.001) con el sangrado de lecho vesicular (OR: 8.5; IC: 2.2-24.9)
Conclusiones: Las complicaciones de colecistectomía laparoscópica en el pabellón 6-II del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza fueron de 8.3% lo que está por debajo de las cifras de diferentes series internacionales .Se concluye también que en el estudio hay una asociación estadísticamente significativa entre colecistitis aguda y sangrado de lecho vesicular. / -- The present investigation work has been carried out keeping in mind the Regulation of Grades and Holding of the School of Pre Grade of the Ability of Medicine of the National University bigger than San Marcos, with the purpose of obtaining Medical Surgeon's title.

Result: We found that 78.5% of patients were female and the average age of the total was 46.2 ± 14.6 years. Complications occurred in 8.3% of cases, being the most frequent gallbladder bed bleeding (6.55%) and vascular injury (1.05%). Acute cholecystitis was associated significantly (p less than 0.001) with gallbladder bed bleeding (OR: 8.5, CI 2.2-24.9)
Conclusions: Complications of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the Surgery Departament 6-II in the Hospital National Archbishop Loayza were of 8.3% which is below the international figures from different series.
