La presente investigación comprueba la efectividad del Programa “Imaginación” aplicado a una muestra de niños y niñas del tercer grado de
Educación Primaria de la Institución Educativa N° 5011, “Darío Arrus”, ubicada en el distrito de Bellavista, en la Provincia Constitucional del Callao-Perú.
De la muestra de 32 sujetos, 16 de ellos conformaron el grupo control (GC) y los otros 16 el grupo experimental. Todos fueron evaluados en el pre y pos test con el sub test 2: Producción de Texto Escrito Narrativo del Test TEPTE(Producción del texto escrito), creado por Dioses (2003). Al grupo experimental se le intervino con el programa “Imaginación” en el horario escolar, en las primeras horas de la mañana y con un total de cuatro horas y media a la semana.
Los resultados indicaron que la aplicación del programa “Imaginación” incrementó el manejo de las propiedades en la producción de un texto escrito narrativo como en la unidad temática, ortografía puntual, corrección gramatical, cohesión, intención comunicativa y coherencia en los alumnos intervenidos, a diferencia de los que no fueron sometidos al programa experimental.
Palabras claves: programa imaginación, producción narrativa. / --- This investigation proves Imagination Program’s effectiveness. It was applied to a sample of children in the third grade of primary education of Dario Arrus School, located in Callao, Perú.
16 people, from the sample of 32, constituted the control group (CG) and the other 16 constituted the experimental group (EG). All participants were
evaluated in the pre-test and in the post- test with the sub text 2: Production of narrative written text of the Test TEPTE (Production of written text) created by Dioses (2003). The experimental group was tested with the Imagination
Program during the school hours, in the first morning hours and with a total of four hours and a half a week.
The results showed that the application of the Imagination Program increased the control of the properties in the production of a narrative written text as in the thematic unit, punctual orthography, grammatical correction, cohesiveness, communicative intention and coherence in the intervened students unlike the students who were not intervened with the experimental program.
