La estimulación temprana realizada por los padres favorece notablemente el desarrollo de las potencialidades del niño; lo que genera, especialmente en las madres la necesidad de ser capacitadas, por medio de estrategias que ejecute el profesional de enfermería. En este sentido el presente estudio tiene como objetivo: Determinar la efectividad del Programa de intervención de Enfermería “Mamis al Rescate” en el incremento de conocimientos de las madres primerizas sobre la estimulación temprana en el primer año de vida en el Policlínico Chincha. Metodología: Estudio de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo, método preexperimental de preprueba/posprueba. La muestra estuvo conformada por 20 madres primerizas obtenida por muestreo no probabilístico intencional. La técnica que se utilizó fue la entrevista y el instrumento el cuestionario aplicado antes y después del Programa de intervención de Enfermería. Resultados: De un total de 20 madres primerizas encuestadas (100%); antes de participar en el programa, el 100% (20) no conocía sobre la estimulación temprana en el primer año de vida, sin embargo, después de su participación se evidencia que el 100% (20) de las madres logró conocer sobre la estimulación temprana en el primer año de vida. Conclusiones: El Programa de intervención de Enfermería “Mamis al Rescate” fue efectivo en el incremento significativo de conocimientos de las madres primerizas sobre la estimulación temprana en el primer año de vida, el cual fue demostrado a través de la prueba T de Student, obteniéndose un t calc.=-47.448, con un nivel de significancia de 0.05, por lo que se acepta la hipótesis de investigación y se rechaza la hipótesis nula. For these reason the following study has as an aim: resolve the effectiveness of the Intervention Nursing Programme “Moms to the Rescue” to increase the knowledge in first-time mothers about Early Stimulation throughout the first year of life at the Policlínico Chincha. Methodology: The quantitative study, applied level, preexperimental from pretest/postest level of an only design. The sample was formed by 20 first-time mothers got by sampling intentional unlikely. The technique that was used was the interview and the instrument was the questionnaire applied before and after the Intervention Nursing Programme. Results: From a set of 20 first- time mothers survey (100%), before being part in the Programme, the 100% (20) didn´t know about the Early Stimulation in the first year of life of a new born. Although, after their participation we can evidence that the 100% (20) of the mothers achieve to know about the topic. Conclusions: the Intervention Nursing Programme “Moms to the Rescue” was effective in the meaningful increase of knowledge in first-time mothers in the first year of life which was shown through the T of Student test, getting a result t calc.=-47.448, with a meaning level of 0.05, for that reason the Research of Hypothesis is accepted and rejects the Invalid Hypothesis KEY WORDS: Effectiveness, Intervention Nursing Programme, Early Stimulation, Psychomotor Development, Knowledge.
