La formación integral del ser humano, los primeros tres años de vida son decisivos para su menor o mayor adaptación al medio. Alrededor de la educación del niño gira un conjunto de factores que se dan en el seno de la familia, escuela y la sociedad. El amor que recibe, la calidad y cantidad de los alimentos que ingiere y el ambiente socio – cultural en que se desenvuelve, juega un papel importante en la vida del niño pequeño. Es necesario construir un mundo donde el niño pueda desarrollarse de manera libre y equilibrada y convertirse en un ser integrado y no violentado en el plano psicológico, moral y social. Uno de los puntos claves para lograr este desarrollo en los niños es la estimulación temprana. Durante mis prácticas pre – profesionales en el C.M.I. “Daniel Alcides Carrión” al interactuar con las madres de familia sobre la estimulación temprana, ellas referían no saber que era eso, otras en cambio manifestaban que eran cosas que sus hijos debían hacer y otras madres solo lo traían para su vacunación. Se sabe que el niño es atendido desde que nace principalmente por la madre, quien asume la responsabilidad de su atención y el cumplimiento de las actividades de estimulación temprana, si la madre no conoce que es la estimulación temprana o que aspectos se desarrollan en ésta entonces no podrá estimular a su hijo correctamente, es por eso que surge la inquietud de investigar este problema : ¿cuál es el nivel de conocimiento que tienen las madres sobre la estimulación temprana en los niños menores de un año en el centro materno infantil “Daniel Alcides Carrión”?. Teniendo como objetivo principal determinar el nivel de conocimiento de las madres acerca de la estimulación temprana en sus hijos menores de un año que acuden al servicio del Componente CRED de la Etapa de Vida Niño. El propósito fue motivar al personal de salud a involucrarse en la programación de actividades de capacitación sobre estimulación temprana, así como a una educación permanente dentro del servicio, a fin que las madres que acudan al mismo reciban la preparación que contribuya a fortalecer el desarrollo de los niños y por ende garantizar la calidad de atención que se brinda en la institución, además formar profesionales para que en las instituciones o guarderías infantiles, enfaticen la importancia de la estimulación temprana en el niño. Dentro de las bases teóricas se consideró aspectos sobre la estimulación temprana, rol de la enfermera en el programa de CRED, definición del niño menor de un año y definición del conocimiento. La principal conclusión a la que se llegó fue que el nivel de conocimiento de las madres sobre la estimulación temprana es de nivel medio. / The human being's integral formation, the first three years of life are decisive for their minor or bigger adaptation to the means. Having as main objective to determine the level of the mothers' knowledge about the early stimulation in their children smaller than one year that you/they go to the service of the Component CRED of the Stage of Life Boy.
