Joel Antônio Barbosa.pdf: 1347734 bytes, checksum: fbcf8f2f0c86e65bc8e43ec9725d392b (MD5) / Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender como o comportamento da criança portadora de Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA) influencia na relação entre pais e filhos e destes com a sociedade em geral, a partir do ponto de vista dos pais; a maneira como os pais lidam com os comportamentos desafiadores dos portadores de TEA; como os pais lidam com a falta de apoio e como o julgamento dos outros interferem no comportamento dos pais. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com dois casais, uma mãe casada e três mães solteiras somando o total de oito entrevistas. As entrevistas foram analisadas usando como metodologia a técnica de análise temática proposta por Braun e Clarke (2006). A escolha para a abordagem dos temas foi pela pesquisa narrativa em vez da pesquisa fenomenológica atendendo aos critérios propostos por Creswell (2014). Como resultado, a análise qualitativa das entrevistas não apresentou diferenças significativas com o que está descrito na literatura, porém este trabalho abordou aspectos da relação familiar que estão pouco descritos na literatura, como a avaliação dos entrevistados sobre o comportamento do cônjuge seja relacionado ao casal, a criança/adolescente ou a ambos. A partir do interesse demonstrado pelos participantes entrevistados em questões relacionadas diretamente à solução dos problemas provocados pelo comportamento diferente do portador de TEA, observamos as formas de modificações na relação interpessoal ou da família do autista com a sociedade. / This study aimed to understand how the behavior of children with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) affects the relationship between parents, children and society, from the
point of view of the parents; the way that parents cope with the challenging behaviors
of patients with ASD; how parents deal with the lack of support and how the other’s
judgment interfere in parent’s behavior. Semi-structured interviews were conducted
with two couples, a married mother and three single mothers. In all, eight interviews.
The interviews were analyzed by using the methodology of technique of thematic
analysis proposed by Braun and Clarke (2006). The choice for the approach of the
themes was the narrative research instead of phenomenological research in view of
the criteria proposed by Creswell (2014). As a result, the qualitative analysis of the
interviews did not present significant differences with what is described in the literature,
but this work addressed aspects of family relationship that are little described in the
literature, such as the assessment of participants about the spouse’s behavior related
to the couple, the child/adolescent or both. The interest showed by participants
interviewed on issues directly related to the solution of the problems brought by the
different behavior of the children with ASD lead us to observe the forms of
interpersonal relationship modifications and of the autistic family with society.
