Previous issue date: 2004-12-31 / The main purpose of this research is to comprehend how the subjectivity of teenagers
is developed in situations such as being geographically away from their parents. Categories
such as family, childhood and adolescence are taken as historically formed realities and are
essential to comprehend the subjectivity of the teenagers that have been studied.
Psychoanalysis is taken as a supportive theory necessary to access the subjectivity of the
teenagers apart from their parents. In this case, we can understand that the relationship
between parents and children is the main point for the development of the subjectivity from
the children in general and that the particularity of their teenagers in situations of being
away is expressive concerning this reality. After performing interviews and questionnaires
we came up with some data about medium class teenagers, well as their families, which move
from the countryside of Goiás state and other states to Goiânia, with the purpose of studying.
At first we can discuss the transformations that occur in the families with the changing from
medium age to modernity and the families of those teenagers that have been interviewed are
characterized. After that a speech about their childhood and the relationships with their
parents is presented. Then the adolescence is treated as a moment of moving from childhood
to the adult life and as an intensive impulsive time. Finally the situation lived by the apart
teenagers is discussed and we try to learn how they organize themselves subjectively away
from their parents and experiencing the intensification of their reactions. As conclusion we
found out that the teenagers in situations of being apart experience, in a particular and
unconscious way, high moral strictness and an increasing of their demands about themselves. / O escopo desse trabalho é compreender como se desenvolve a subjetividade de
adolescentes em situação de distanciamento geográfico dos pais. As categorias como
família, infância e adolescência são tomadas como realidades historicamente constituídas e
fundamentais na compreensão da subjetividade dos adolescentes estudados. A psicanálise é
tomada como aporte teórico necessário para se acessar a subjetividade dos adolescentes
distanciados dos pais. Nesse sentido, entende-se que a relação entre pais e filhos é
mediação para o desenvolvimento da subjetividade dos filhos em geral e que a
particularidade dos filhos adolescentes em situação de distanciamento é expressiva dessa
realidade. A partir de questionários e entrevistas levantou-se dados sobre adolescentes de
classe média, bem como de sua família, que se mudam do interior do estado de Goiás, e de
outros estados, para Goiânia com a finalidade de estudar. Num primeiro momento discutese
as transformações que ocorrem na família com a passagem da Idade Média para a
Modernidade e caracteriza-se as famílias dos adolescentes pesquisados. Em seguida é
apresentado o discurso desses sujeitos sobre sua infância e sobre a sua relação com seus
pais. Depois trata-se da adolescência como um momento de passagem da vida infantil para
a vida adulta e como tempo de intensidade pulsional. Por fim, discute-se a situação de
distanciamento vivida pelo adolescente e busca-se apreender como ele se organiza
subjetivamente distanciado dos pais e experimentando a intensificação de suas pulsões.
Como conclusão, elucida-se que os adolescentes em situação de distanciamento
experimentam de modo particular e inconsciente grande rigor moral e aumento da suas
exigências sobre si mesmo.
