Previous issue date: 2004-12-30 / We tried to comprehend the way youngsters, female, with ages between
19 and 27 years old, rebuild their existences after a suicidal attempt. The
research, that happened within the rigidities of the phenomenological
method, figure on with two participants that had tried suicide around three
years ago and hadn't shown up suicidal tendencies for at least one year. The
instruments used were the Psychodiagnoses Rorschach and the open interview,
realized in an interactive kind with the participants, which allowed them
to produce along with the researcher a sketch of their life stories. The
Rorschach was aplied as a test and retest, been made the first application
after the suicidal attempt and the other, around four years later. It was
possible to notice that the two participants, which presented different
stories, had a drama that has gone to a common place, that was the need to
express whereas authentic beings, preparing themselves to the meeting with
the other, without losing their individuality and singularity. / Buscou-se compreender a forma com que jovens, do sexo feminino, com idades
entre 19 e 27 anos, reconstroem sua existência após uma tentativa de suicídio. A pesquisa,
que foi realizada dentro dos rigores do método fenomenológico, contou com duas
participantes que haviam tentado suicídio há mais de três anos e não apresentavam idéias
de suicídio há pelo menos um ano. Os instrumentos utilizados foram o Psicodiagnóstico
Rorschach e a entrevista aberta, realizada de forma interativa com as participantes, o que
permitia que elas construíssem junto com a pesquisadora um esboço de suas histórias de
vida. O Rorschach foi aplicado na forma de teste e reteste, tendo sido feita a primeira
aplicação após a tentativa de suicídio e a outra, cerca de quatro anos depois. Verificou-se
que as duas participantes, que apresentavam histórias diferentes, possuíam um drama que
convergia para um ponto comum, que era a necessidade de se significarem enquanto seres
autênticos, preparando-se para o encontro com o outro, sem perderem sua individualidade
e singularidade.
