Previous issue date: 2005-07-08 / The present work dealt on reflections that we have done on how the Cultural Patrimony
of Porto Nacional municipality is approached in elementary schools. Through discursive
analysis of elements from the historical/cultural reality, it aims the stimulation of this
discussion by both teachers and students. Besides, intends to introduce and reinforce, on
scholar community, the importance of patrimonial education through the construction of
new elements and practices, on the perspective of the valorization and preservation of
the archeo-historical site of Pontal as well as the Cultural Patrimony of Porto Nacional
as a whole. / O presente trabalho é o resultado das reflexões que temos feito de como é abordado o
Patrimônio Cultural, do município de Porto Nacional pelas escolas de ensino
fundamental. Objetiva, a partir da análise discursiva sobre elementos da realidade
histórico-cultural, despertar o interesse de professores e alunos pela questão. Além
disso, procura introduzir e reforçar, no contexto da comunidade escolar, a importância
da Educação Patrimonial através da construção de novos elementos e de novas práticas,
na perspectiva da valorização e da preservação do sítio arqueológico e histórico de
Pontal e todo Patrimônio Cultural de Porto Nacional.
