Previous issue date: 2013-02-21 / The study was conducted based on the elaboration of a survey of literature on the
topics stamp Environmental Education (EE), Early Childhood Education (EI) and
Selective Collection and what their contribution, from their definitions, history,
legislation and procedures in order pedagogical practice of subsidizing the training of
ecological concepts in a group of children, aged four and five years, studying in a
school of Arts in Goiânia, through the implementation of selective collection in the
school environment, as well as reports experience of this practice. It concludes that,
from an EA work started in kindergarten through initiatives such as the
implementation of selective collection at home and school, in a partnership between
school, family and society, it is possible the formation of ecological awareness
through building habits, attitudes and postures that respect and preserve the
environment. / O estudo foi realizado com base na elaboração de uma pesquisa de cunho
bibliográfico sobre os temas Educação Ambiental (EA), Educação Infantil (EI) e
Coleta Seletiva e qual a contribuição dos mesmos, partindo de suas definições,
histórico, legislação e procedimentos no sentido de subsidiar a prática pedagógica
na formação de conceitos ecológicos em um grupo de crianças, na faixa etária de
quatro e cinco anos, que estudavam em uma escola de Artes da cidade de Goiânia,
através da implantação da coleta seletiva no ambiente escolar, bem como relatos de
experiência dessa prática. Conclui que, a partir de um trabalho de EA iniciado na
Educação Infantil, através de iniciativas como a implantação da coleta seletiva no
ambiente doméstico e escolar, em uma parceria entre escola, família e sociedade, é
possível a formação da consciência ecológica através da construção de hábitos,
atitudes e posturas que respeitem e preservem o meio ambiente.
