Defesa: Curitiba, 12/06/2015 / Inclui referências : f. 120-125 / Resumo: O presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar o processo de assunção da posição sexuada no humano através das teorias de Freud e Lacan. Inicialmente, destaca-se a forma como Freud se depara com o complexo de Édipo e a maneira como o utiliza para desenvolver a importância central do falo na sexualidade infantil, na qual a diferença entre os sexos se inscreve em termos simbólicos e assimétricos. Expõem-se estas ideias divididas em três momentos distintos na obra freudiana, a depender do conceito que está sendo desenvolvido pelo autor naquele momento. Em seguida passa-se à análise do complexo de Édipo na obra lacaniana dos anos 50, mais especificamente do seu primeiro seminário ao quinto. Estuda-se nesta parte a importância dada por Lacan ao falo dentro da teorização do Édipo, o qual é dividido pelo autor em três tempos. Acompanha-se sua exposição a respeito da importância da confrontação entre a constatação da castração materna, feminina - diferença sexual - e a premissa universal do falo, confrontação esta que introduzirá o registro da falta. Por fim, conclui-se que o complexo de Édipo é um mito construído pelo neurótico para explicar sua neurose e para encobrir o real do sexo e da não relação sexual. A assunção das posições masculina e feminina acabam sendo formas de falhar na tentativa de simbolização do real da diferença sexual. Palavras-chave: psicanálise; diferença sexual; complexo de Édipo; falo; sexuação. / Abstract: The present study aims to investigate the process of assumption of the sexual position in the human through the theories of Freud and Lacan. Initially, Freud is confronted with the Oedipus complex and how he uses it to develop the central importance of the phallus in child sexuality, in which the difference between the sexes is inscribed in symbolic and asymmetric terms. These ideas are divided into three distinct moments in Freudian work, depending on the concept being developed by the author at that moment. Then the Oedipus complex is analyzed in the Lacanian work of the 1950s, more specifically from his first seminar through the fifth. In this part the importance given by Lacan to the phallus within the theorizing of the Oedipus is studied, which is divided by the author in three times. Follows the exposition about the importance of the confrontation between the verification of the maternal, feminine castration - sexual difference - and the universal premise of the phallus, a confrontation that will introduce the record of the absence. Finally, it is concluded that the Oedipus complex is a myth constructed by the neurotic to explain its neurosis and to cover up the reality of sexual and non-sexual relation. The assumption of the masculine and feminine positions ends up being ways to fail in the attempt to symbolize the real of sexual difference.
