Defesa: Curitiba, 25/08/2017 / Inclui referências : p. 126-136 / Resumo: Este trabalho trata-se da análise de um fenômeno de religiosidade que tem ocorrido na cidade de Matinhos- PR desde 1992: a crença nos dons de "Dona Nilda Benzedeira" e sua festa de São Cosme e São Damião. A análise desenvolveu-se a partir de três categorias: religiosidade, emoção e gênero. Como fontes de pesquisa, contamos com o produto de entrevistas realizadas com treze pessoas que foram escolhidas no modelo de rede, em que um entrevistado sugere outro. Também nos valemos de fotografias relacionadas à crença e festa acima mencionadas, algumas tiradas por nós e outras concedidas pelos próprios entrevistados. Também contamos com fontes auxiliares, como jornais locais, documentos concedidos pela Câmara Municipal de Matinhos e pela própria Dona Nilda. Utilizamos a metodologia da história oral para as entrevistas e a abordagem historiográfica das imagens, bem como um rico referencial teórico sobre os conceitos centrais deste trabalho, como reflexões propostas pela história cultural das religiões no que toca às religiosidades e festas religiosas; pela historiografia anglo-saxônica acerca da relação entre religião e emoção; pelas pesquisas historiográficas desenvolvidas sobre a relação entre gênero, religião e religiosidade; entre outras. Na primeira seção, apresentamos com detalhes nosso objeto de estudo, problemas, fontes e metodologia de pesquisa. Na segunda, apresentamos a revisão bibliográfica sobre o assunto e as referências teóricas que nos ajudaram a pensar nosso objeto de estudo. A terceira seção analisou o papel das emoções de simpatia, luto e amizade na crença e festa em questão, emoções que não foram escolhidas aleatoriamente, mas sim por terem sido as mais evidenciadas nas narrativas dos fiéis de Dona Nilda. Ainda nesta seção, discutimos a materialidade inerente à crença e a festa, devido à relação entre materialidade e emoção. A quarta e última seção abordou o peso das questões de gênero na crença nos dons de Dona Nilda e na festa que organiza. Através das reflexões presentes neste trabalho, buscamos demonstrar o lugar das emoções neste fenômeno da religiosidade contemporânea, propondo uma perspectiva sobre as relações entre religiosidade, emoção e gênero. Materialidade. / Abstract: This work deals with the analysis of a phenomenon of religiosity that has been occurring in the city of Matinhos-PR since 1992: the belief in the gifts of "Mrs. Nilda Benzedeira" and her feast of Saint Cosme and Saint Damião. The analysis developed from three categories: religiosity, emotion and gender. As sources of research, we have the product of interviews from the network model, in which one interviewee suggested another. We also use photographs related to the aforementioned belief and celebration, some taken by us and others granted by the interviewees themselves. We also have auxiliary sources, such as local newspapers, documents granted by the City Council of Matinhos and Mrs. Nilda herself. We used the methodology of oral history for the interviews and the historiographical approach of images, as well as a rich theoretical reference about the central concepts of this work, such as reflections proposed by the cultural history of religions with regard to the study of religious and religious festivals; by the Anglo-Saxon historiography on emotions; by the researchers developed about the relationship between gender, religion and religiosity, among others. In the first section, we present in detail our object of study, problems, sources and research methodology. In the second, we present the bibliographical review about the subject matter and the theoretical references that helped us to think our object of study. The third section analyzed the role of the emotions of sympathy, grief and friendship in the belief and celebration in study, emotions that were not chosen at random, but rather because they were the most evidenced in the narratives of the believers of Mrs. Nilda. Still in this section, we discuss the materiality inherent in belief and the party, due to the relationship between materiality and emotion. The fourth and last section dealt with the weight of gender issues in the belief in the gifts of Mrs. Nilda and the feast she organized. Through the reflections present in this work, we aim to demonstrate the place of the emotions in this phenomenon of contemporary religiosity, proposing a perspective on the relationships between religiosity, emotion and gender.
