Previous issue date: 2018-01-31 / This work will deal with the aspects that transgress the behavior of the individual in his intention to undertake. This research aims to analyze the influence of executive education in the relation between the antecedents of the entrepreneurial intention and the entrepreneurial intention of graduate students (lato sensu). The research is based on the construct of entrepreneurship, executive education and the antecedents of the entrepreneurial intention that made possible the construction of a predictive model of entrepreneurial intention for graduate students in the creation of companies, represented by five blocks, divided between executive education and entrepreneurial intent, the influence of executive education on the relationship between economic context and entrepreneurial intent, the influence of executive education on the relationship between cultural dimensions and entrepreneurial intent, the influence of executive education on the relationship between personal antecedents and entrepreneurial intention, influence of executive education on the relationship between entrepreneurial selfefficacy and entrepreneurial intent. The methodology used in the research was quantitative with an explanatory perspective. Data collection was done through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data were collected between August and September 2017 with students of the executive education courses (graduate students) of a university located in the Northeast of Brazil. Questionnaires were sent to around 1,000 students, obtaining 110 valid answers. The data were analyzed from two perspectives. Initially from descriptive statistics, seeking to understand the characterization of the sample. Then, it was proceeded to structural equations modelling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), in order to understand the relation of cause and effect of the studied constructs. At the end it was verified that the hypotheses were not supported, that is, the executive education does not influence the relationship between the antecedents of the entrepreneurial intention and the intention to undertake the graduate students. / Este trabalho tratará de aspectos do indivíduo na sua intenção de empreender. Seu objetivo central é analisar a influência da educação executiva na relação entre os antecedentes da intenção empreendedora e a intenção empreendedora de estudantes de pós-graduação lato sensu. A pesquisa está baseada no construto do empreendedorismo, da educação executiva e nos antecedentes da intenção empreendedora que possibilitaram a construção de um modelo preditivo de intenção empreendedora para estudantes de pós-graduação lato sensu na criação de empresas, representado por cinco blocos, divididos entre a educação executiva e a intenção empreendedora, a influência da educação executiva na relação entre contexto econômico e intenção empreendedora, a influência da educação executiva na relação entre dimensões culturais e intenção empreendedora, a influência da educação executiva na relação entre antecedentes pessoais e intenção empreendedora, a influência da educação executiva na relação entre autoeficácia empreendedora e intenção empreendedora. A metodologia empregada na pesquisa foi de natureza quantitativa, com uma perspectiva explicativa, e sua coleta se deu por meio de um questionário com uma escala Likert. Os dados foram coletados entre os meses de agosto e setembro de 2017 com alunos dos cursos de educação executiva (pós-graduação lato sensu) de uma universidade localizada no Nordeste do Brasil. Ao todo, foram enviados questionários para em torno de 1.000 alunos, obtendo-se 110 respostas válidas. Os dados foram analisados em duas perspectivas. Inicialmente, a partir de estatística descritiva, buscando entender e caracterizar a amostra de respondentes. Em seguida, passouse à modelagem de equação estrutural baseada em variância (Partial Least Squares - PLS), no intuito de entender a relação de causa e efeito dos construtos estudados. Ao final, foi verificado que as hipóteses não foram suportadas, ou seja, a educação executiva não exerce influência na relação entre os antecedentes da intenção empreendedora e a intenção de empreender dos alunos de pós-graduação lato sensu da instituição pesquisada
