Previous issue date: 2018-11-05 / This research brings a reflection about the violence in the present, more specifically about the violence in the urban spaces, in the city. For its development, a research oriented by the psychoanalysis, of qualitative bias with a theoretical-bibliographic design, was carried out, in an attempt to create space for a discussion about the effects of a phenomenon so complex and multifactorial for the individual and for the social bond. We took the liberty to open up to other areas, such as philosophy and geography, believing that the circulation between the knowledge allows us to advance on the understanding of our object of study, violence. We start from a discussion in Freud and Lacan about violence and aggressiveness as a constitutive trait of the individual and of civilization. Next, we reflect on the current violence, using some studies of Brazilian psychoanalysts, as well as a brief resumption of our colonial and enslaved past. We also use Zizek's critical thinking to reflect on the panorama of violence by articulating with the Agambenian concept of "state of exception". Finally, we think of the bandit as a figure of the homo sacer, also an Agambenian concept, for an articulation with the Lacanian notion of segregation and its implication in what we can perceive as a divided city. We conclude that the division of the cities acts as an attenuating way for the conviviality between the differences, with the exposure of a common enemy. The state of exception, by means of a diluted sovereign, enters as a facilitator for the elimination of the bandit. However, believing that we are all virtually homo sacer, anyone can become a killable figure. Through what we can call segregated life, violence emerges as a way of legitimizing segregation.
Keywords: Violence. Psychoanalysis. Segregation. / A presente pesquisa traz uma reflexão a respeito da violência na atualidade, mais especificamente da violência nos espaços urbanos, na cidade. Para seu desenvolvimento, foi realizada uma pesquisa orientada pela psicanálise, de viés qualitativo com delineamento teórico-bibliográfico, na tentativa de criar espaço para uma discussão sobre os efeitos advindos de um fenômeno tão complexo e multifatorial para o sujeito e para o laço social. Tomamos a liberdade de dar abertura a outras áreas, tais como a Filosofia e a Geografia, acreditando que a circulação entre os saberes nos permite um avanço acerca do entendimento do nosso objeto de estudo, a violência. Partimos inicialmente de uma discussão em Freud e Lacan acerca da violência e da agressividade enquanto traço constitutivo do sujeito e da civilização. Em seguida, fazemos uma reflexão sobre a violência na atualidade, utilizando alguns estudos de psicanalistas brasileiros, assim como uma breve retomada ao nosso passado colonial e escravocrata. Utilizamos também o pensamento crítico de Zizek para a reflexão sobre o panorama da violência, fazendo uma articulação com a categoria agambeniana de ¿estado de exceção¿. Por fim, pensamos o bandido enquanto figura do homo sacer, categoria também agambeniana, para uma articulação com a noção lacaniana de segregação e sua implicação no que podemos perceber como uma cidade dividida. Concluímos que a divisão das cidades age como uma forma atenuante para o convívio entre as diferenças, com a exposição de um inimigo comum. O estado de exceção, por meio de um soberano diluído, entra como facilitador para a eliminação do bandido. No entanto, acreditando que todos somos virtualmente homo sacer; qualquer um pode se tornar uma figura matável. Por meio do que podemos chamar de vida segregada, a violência surge como uma forma de legitimar a segregação.
