Previous issue date: 2017-07-08 / The present study aims to present a study on the implementation of Law 10639/03 in the
process of inclusion of ethnic-racial relations in the public school. This research was
carried out with the Multidisciplinary Team and among students of the 3rd year of the
Iguaçu Falls College. The study shows the discriminatory situations that black and Afro-
descendant students still experience in the educational process. Therefore, we seek to
collaborate with studies relevant to inclusive education, thus contributing to the
understanding of ethnic-racial relations. The work is divided into three chapters: the first
deals with the concept of the black diaspora in Latin America, the history of enslavement in
Brazil and the articulations and movements of resistance. The second brings a discussion
on the relations of education of ethnic-racial relations. And in the third one the results of
the research realized in the College Cataratas are presented. As a methodology for the
research, we opted for a qualitative approach, understanding that this methodology
provides a differentiated approach on the theme. Individual interviews were conducted,
conversational wheels with members of the Multidisciplinary Team and the students who
participated in the research. / O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar um estudo sobre a implementação da Lei 10.639/03 no processo de inclusão das relações étnico-raciais na escola pública. Esta pesquisa foi realizada junto a Equipe Multidisciplinar e entre estudantes do 3º ano do Colégio Cataratas do Iguaçu. O estudo evidencia as situações discriminatórias que alunos negros ainda vivenciam no processo educativo. Diante disso, procura-se colaborar com estudos pertinentes ao que se refere à educação inclusiva, assim contribuindo no entendimento das relações étnico-raciais. O trabalho está divido em três capítulos: o primeiro aborda o conceito de diáspora negra na América Latina, história da escravização no Brasil e as articulações e movimentos de resistência. O segundo traz uma discussão sobre as relações da educação das relações étnico-raciais. E no terceiro apresenta-se os resultados da pesquisa realizada no Colégio Cataratas. Como metodologia para a investigação optou-se em uma abordagem qualitativa, compreendendo que esta metodologia propicia uma aproximação diferenciada sobre o tema. Foram realizadas entrevistas individuais, rodas de conversas com integrantes da Equipe Multidisciplinar e com os alunos partícipes da pesquisa.
