Previous issue date: 2011-08-30 / O objetivo desta dissertação é perseguir o conceito de trágico na filosofia do jovem Friedrich
Wilhelm Nietzsche. Através do estudo das suas primeiras obras dedicadas à reflexão
filosófica, percebemos que a ideia do “trágico” se afirma como ponto central e ganha destaque
para as perspectivas de trabalho vindouro para o professor de filologia clássica que se tornaria
um dos mais importantes nomes da filosofia contemporânea. Entretanto, mesmo resguardando
o valor que as reflexões nietzschianas apresentam em relação ao problema do trágico, sua
filosofia passou à posteridade sob a égide de outros problemas por ele analisados e,
consequentemente, enfatizando ideias aparentemente mais centrais que a do trágico. É para
sanar a necessidade de uma reflexão mais intensiva sobre os trabalhos do jovem Nietzsche
que esta pesquisa chama atenção e vem se alinhar ao esforço de compreensão das ideias
fundamentais do filósofo antes da elaboração dos conceitos de “super-homem”, “eterno
retorno” e “vontade de poder”. Para isso debruçamo-nos sobre O nascimento da tragédia no
Espírito da Música; por acreditarmos que nele convergem as principais ideias caras ao
Nietzsche jovem. E a particularidade que queremos acentuar aqui, através do fomento das
reflexões sobre a religião, é a centralidade do mito e da música como elementos sem os quais
a tragédia não pode ser pensada e, consequentemente, não se pode chegar ao cerne do que
definira como “trágico”. Nietzsche organiza as ideias de mito, culto e coro para salvaguardar
uma relação de autenticidade para a tragédia grega, autenticidade que reflete uma visão
particular e mais verdadeira da realidade do mundo. A dissolução dessa tríade resulta no
aparecimento de um tipo de civilização que se afasta de todo valor verdadeiro da realidade,
tanto do mundo quanto da vida. Nietzsche, enquanto se coloca diante da tradição alemã de
releitura dos clássicos gregos, constrói uma ponte entre a vida grega autêntica e a vida
moderna, socrática, pouco hábil para a compreensão do mito e amplamente desprovida da
capacidade de ouvir e compreender a música. Esta relação é estruturada a partir da
configuração de dois conceitos básicos – apolíneo e dionisíaco – que vão servir como
divisores de águas para o pensamento nietzschiano, permitindo uma reinterpretação não
apenas dos valores estéticos do mundo moderno, mas, mais completamente, uma releitura
iconoclasta da própria condição de possibilidade de se pensar o homem após o crepúsculo de
seus deuses. / The objective of this dissertation is to pursue the concept of the tragic couple in the
Philosophy of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. Through the study of his early works devoted to
philosophical reflection we realized that the idea of the “tragic” is stated as the central focus
and win the job prospects coming to the teacher of Classical Philology would become one of
the most important names in contemporary philosophy. However, even protecting the value
they have Nietzschean reflections on the problem of the tragic, his philosophy passed down to
posterity under aegis of other problems he studied, and thus emphasizing ideas that seen most
central to the tragic. It is to remedy the need for a more intensive reflection on the work of the
young Nietzsche that this research draws attention and has been the effort to bring
understanding of the fundamental ideas of the philosopher before the elaboration of the
concepts of “superman”, “eternal recurrence” and “will to power”. For this we are referring
on The birth of Tragedy in the Spirit of Music because we believe that it faces the main ideas
converge to the young Nietzsche. And we want to emphasize in special here, through
discussion about religion, is the centrality of myth and music as elements without which the
tragedy cannot be thought, and therefore cannot get to the heart of what he called a “tragic”.
Nietzsche organizes the ideas of myth, cult and chorus to preserve a relationship of
authenticity to Greek tragedy, authenticity that reflects a particular vision and truer reality of
the world. The dissolution of this triad results in the appearance of a type of civilization that
departs from the true value of the whole reality of both the world and of life. Thus, Nietzsche,
while bringing forth the German tradition of rereading of Greek classics, builds a bridge
between authentic Greek life and modern life, Socratic, clumsy to understand the myth and
largely devoid of the ability to listen and understand music. This relationship is structured
from the configuration of two basic concepts – Apollonian and Dionysian – which will serve
as a watershed for the Nietzschean thought, allowing a reinterpretation not only of aesthetic
values of the modern world, but more completely, an iconoclastic the very condition of
possibility of thinking the man after the twilight of their gods.
