were confronted on the archeology in the Paço da Liberdade from the interdisciplinary
approach between anthropology and archeology, correlating the theoretical paradigms that
point as object of study archeological practices, that culminated in an exhibition of the
archeology in the basement of a room of the building, that in this work I propose to
conceptualize like archaeological musealization in situ. Based on an ethnography of the
archaeological work, the research anchors on the configurations between the agency of the
material culture and the unfolding of this process between the different agents implied in the
local discourse, as the reflection of the actions that have been focused on the policy of
preservation of the Cultural heritage in the city and the network of relations that involve the
political - cultural context, especially the agency and confrontation of ethnic minority groups,
represented in this research by the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian
Amazon – COIAB and FEPI. / Essa pesquisa analisa as múltiplas visões de mundo e vozes representadas nos discursos que
se confrontaram sobre a arqueologia no Paço da Liberdade a partir do enfoque interdisciplinar
entre antropologia e arqueologia, correlacionando os paradigmas teóricos que apontam como
objeto de estudo, práticas arqueológicas que culminaram em uma exposição da arqueologia no
subsolo de uma sala do edifício, que neste trabalho, proponho conceituar como musealização
arqueológica in situ. A partir de uma etnografia do fazer arqueológico, a pesquisa se ancora
sobre as configurações entre a agência da cultura material e o desdobramento desse processo
entre os diferentes agentes implicados no discurso local, como o reflexo das ações que se
debruçaram sobre a política de preservação do patrimônio cultural na cidade e a rede de
relações que envolvem o contexto político – cultural, em especial a agência e enfrentamento
de grupos étnicos minoritários, representados nessa pesquisa pela Coordenação das
Organizações Indígenas da Amazônia Brasileira-COIAB e FEPI.
