Previous issue date: 2018-02-23 / The present research seeks to analyze the experiences and experiences of reading of the
subjects located in the city of Manaus. The group was structured according to the
following inclusion criteria: to participate (or to participate) in the reading incentive
projects, to be in the first three places referring to the entrance exams (by grade or course)
and to be part of teaching intuitions recognized by the performance in official assessments
of both basic education and higher education. This work is based on the assumption that
the subject positions would reveal displacements, transformations and / or obstacles to
the achievement of the reading habit. Data collection was done according to the
methodological method of Oral Thematic History. In view of this, the production of the
corpus is initially composed of ten interviews conducted in 2016 and 2017. The
interviewees were students, alumni, teachers and writers. As for the organization and
analysis of the data, I used the analytical device of the materialistic discursive perspective.
For this reason, the corpus of the research becomes composed of discursive cuts, coming
from the interviews that were transcribed and textualized. The Analysis of Materialist
Discourse, related to the analytical aspect, focuses on the description and interpretation
of discourses. In this case, it is the sayings of the interviewed subjects who pass through
the description and interpretation, in order to analyze their effects of meaning and then to
map the discursive formations and positions of subject. / A presente pesquisa busca analisar as experiências e vivências de leitura dos sujeitos
situados na cidade de Manaus. O grupo foi estruturado a partir dos seguintes critérios de
inclusão: participar (ou ter participado) dos projetos de incentivo à leitura, estar nos três
primeiros lugares referentes aos exames de vestibular (por nota ou curso) e fazer parte de
intuições de ensino reconhecidas pelo bom desempenho em avaliações oficiais, tanto do
ensino básico quanto do ensino superior. Este trabalho parte do pressuposto de que as
posições de sujeito revelariam deslocamentos, transformações e/ou entraves para a
conquista do hábito de leitura. A coleta de dados foi efetuada segundo o procedimento
metodológico da História Oral Temática. Em vista disso, a produção do corpus é,
inicialmente, constituída de dez entrevistas realizadas nos anos de 2016 e 2017. Os
entrevistados eram alunos, ex-alunos, professores e escritores. Quanto à organização e a
análise dos dados, utilizei o dispositivo analítico da perspectiva discursiva materialista.
Por este motivo, o corpus da pesquisa passa a ser composto por recortes discursivos,
provenientes das entrevistas que foram transcritas e textualizadas. A Análise de Discurso
Materialista, relativo ao aspecto analítico, concentra-se na descrição e interpretação de
discursos. Neste caso, são os dizeres dos sujeitos-leitores entrevistados que passam pela
descrição e interpretação, afim de analisar os seus efeitos de sentido para, então, mapear
as formações discursivas e posições de sujeito.
