Previous issue date: 2018-06-29 / CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The creation of Metropolitan Regions has been a trend in the Brazilian scenario, many states are institutionalizing their regions. In turn, the state of Amazonas in the year 2007 created its by the State Complementary Law no. 52/07, establishing the Metropolitan Region of Manaus, consisting initially of 8 municipalities of which Iranduba is a member. A region that differs from other RMs in the country, because it has particularities and singularities not seen in the others, with characteristics that can be visualized in the way it has been configuring its territory and transforming the spaces. But, it is not only the space that is transformed, the daily life of the inhabitants of the localities that are having their metropolitan spaces are also transformed. Thus, the general objective of this dissertation is to investigate how the process of metropolitanization of the RMM in the rural context of Iranduba is configured. The metropolization is a process that goes beyond the limits of the metropolis and occurs in different intensities involving the metropolis and the spaces involved, it is not only the expansion of the metropolis beyond it because it goes through a series of meanings, in which the spaces are also being printed the metropolitan codes, the ways of life and the characteristics of the metropolis even in the spaces considered rural. Iranduba is a metropolitan municipality with rural characteristics, it stands out for its economy focused on agriculture and Oleiro polo is one of the main suppliers of these products that supply the market of Manaus. Iranduba's choice and its metropolitan insertion as object of study was based on several motivations based on the diversity of space production characterized by distinct realities where elements already consolidated in its territory stand out as is the case of its rural characteristics, and with the metropolization of space other elements are emerging in this scenario, among these new elements stand out the housing complexes built since the inauguration of the bridge over the Rio Negro, after the completion of this project were arising several real estate developments in the areas of roads and on the Manuel Urbano highway, localities considered rural. A new that arises in the midst of the old not only in the edified but not lived by those who come to live with a new reality, in it new relations are imposed and their impacts already begin to worry the residents of these localities. Thus, in order to understand these transformations, we have looked at this universe where the metropolization takes place, and based on a theoretical revision on the various aspects related to the production of space and the current restructuring that has been taking place in the place when it is inserted in the context of RMM. Transformations that intensified on the Iranduba road from the year 2011, the socio-spatial configuration of these localities were altered and continue to be modified, and in them are being added new elements that acts in the production of the metropolitan space / A criação de Regiões Metropolitanas vem sendo tendência no cenário brasileiro, muitos estados estão institucionalizando suas regiões. Por sua vez, o estado do Amazonas no ano de 2007 criou a sua pela Lei Complementar Estadual nº. 52/07, instituindo a Região Metropolitana de Manaus, composta incialmente por 8 municípios do qual o Iranduba é integrante. Uma região que se difere de outras RMs do país, pois possui particularidades e singularidades não vistas nas demais, com características que podem ser visualizadas na forma como vem configurando o seu território e transformando os espaços. Mas, não é apenas o espaço que se transforma, o cotidiano dos moradores das localidades que estão tendo seus espaços metropolizados também são transformados. Dessa forma, o objetivo geral desta dissertação é investigar como se configura o processo de metropolização da RMM no contexto rural do Iranduba. A metropolização é um processo que ultrapassa os limites da metrópole e ocorre em intensidades diferentes envolvendo a metrópole e os espaços envolvidos, não se trata apenas da expansão da metrópole para além dela pois perpassa uma serie de significados, no qual aos espaços vão sendo imprimidos também os códigos metropolitanos, os modos de vida e as características oriundas da metrópole mesmo nos espaços tidos como rurais. o Iranduba é um município metropolitano com características rurais, se destaca por sua economia voltada para a agricultura e polo Oleiro, é um dos principais fornecedores desses produtos que abastecem o mercado de Manaus. Escolha de Iranduba e sua inserção metropolitana como objeto de estudo deu-se a partir de várias motivações consubstanciadas a partir da diversidade da produção do espaço caracterizada por distintas realidades onde se destacam elementos já consolidados em seu território como é o caso das suas características rurais, e com a metropolização do espaço outros elementos vão surgindo nesse cenário, dentre esses novos elementos destacam-se os conjuntos habitacionais construídos a partir da inauguração da ponte sobre o Rio Negro, após a concretização desse projeto foram surgindo vários empreendimentos imobiliários nas áreas de estradas e na rodovia Manuel Urbano, localidades consideradas rurais. Um novo que surge em meio ao velho não apenas no edificado, mas no vivido por aqueles que passam a conviver com uma nova realidade, nela novas relações vão sendo impostas e, seus impactos já começam a preocupar os moradores dessas localidades. Assim, para a compreensão dessas transformações lançou-se o olhar para esse universo onde ocorre a metropolização e, se fundamentou em uma revisão teórica sobre os diversos aspectos relacionados à produção do espaço e a atual reestruturação que vem ocorrendo no lugar ao ser inserida no contexto da RMM. Transformações que se intensificaram na estrada de Iranduba a partir do ano de 2011, a configuração socioespacial dessas localidades foram alteradas e continuam sendo modificadas, e neles vão sendo agregados novos elementos que atua na produção do espaço metropolitano.
