Previous issue date: 2018-05-25 / CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This work aimed at to analyze the relationship among the disposition of the urban solid residues in the city of Manaus and the process health-disease identifying, like this, the unfoldings of the inadequate discard of the residues and their aspects socioambientais, as well as his/her influence on the morbosity in the city, specifically, considering the attack of the leptospirose. The analysis was developed under the perspective urban socioambiental, considering the multiple facets involved in the process, because, it understands each other that the genesis of the problems socioambientais is harnessed, mainly, but no exclusive, to the urban life way, which expressed the inequalities in the extent of the cities marked by the disparities in the distribution of income, service and disposition of the public services of sanitation and health. The data compiled for analysis in this research were obtained in several sources, being, mainly, collected in IBGE, SINAN and DATASUS, among which it worked her the variables of income, education, notifications and internments for leptospirose, sanitation, among others. Descriptive statistical techniques were used for analysis and construction of the indicators socioambientais. Starting from that, it identified the space panorama in that it is the environmental sanitation in the city of Manaus and the process health-disease of the leptospirose. Among the cartographic representations presented in this research the map synthesis of the conditions of environmental sanitation is had in the city of Manaus, that analyzed, jointly, to the map of internments for leptospirose, it demonstrated that it leaves of the population, it is hostage of his/her location in the city of Manaus. The most vulnerable areas to the attack of the pathology analyzing the incidence of internments of the disease for city of Manaus was the neighborhoods of the areas south, west, as well as the area east, regarding the total of cases of internments was the neighborhoods of the areas north and east of Manaus. Those areas also presented the most expressive indexes of inadequate conditions of sanitation environmental as exposed in the map synthesis of the conditions of sanitation for city, it was also observed that those areas of the city possess smaller index of income and education. Therefore, it is necessary the development of effective public politics considering the exposed needs in the city of Manaus, as the exclusion, segregation and inequalities identified socioambientais. / Este trabalho objetivou analisar a relação entre a disposição dos resíduos sólidos urbanos na cidade de Manaus e o processo saúde-doença identificando, assim, os desdobramentos do descarte inadequado dos resíduos e seus aspectos socioambientais, assim como sua influência sobre a morbidade na cidade, especificamente, considerando o acometimento da leptospirose. A análise foi desenvolvida sob a perspectiva socioambiental urbana, considerando as múltiplas facetas envolvidas no processo, pois, entende-se que a gênese dos problemas socioambientais está atrelada, principalmente, mas não exclusiva, ao modo de vida urbano, o qual expressa as desigualdades no âmbito das cidades marcadas pelas disparidades na distribuição de renda, atendimento e disposição dos serviços públicos de saneamento e saúde. Os dados compilados para análise nesta pesquisa foram obtidos em diversas fontes, sendo, principalmente, coletados no IBGE, SINAN e DATASUS, dentre as quais se trabalhou as variáveis de renda, educação, notificações e internações por leptospirose, saneamento, entre outras. Foram utilizadas técnicas estatísticas descritivas para análise e construção dos indicadores socioambientais. A partir disso, identificou-se o panorama espacial em que se encontra o saneamento ambiental na cidade de Manaus e o processo saúde-doença da leptospirose. Dentre as representações cartográficas apresentadas nesta pesquisa tem-se o mapa síntese das condições de saneamento ambiental na cidade de Manaus, que analisado, conjuntamente, ao mapa de internações por leptospirose, demonstrou que parte da população, encontra-se refém da sua localização na cidade de Manaus. As áreas mais vulneráveis ao acometimento da patologia analisando a incidência de internações da doença para cidade de Manaus foram os bairros das zonas sul, oeste, assim como a zona leste, com relação ao total de casos de internações foram os bairros das zonas norte e leste de Manaus. Essas áreas também apresentaram os índices mais expressivos de condições inadequadas de saneamento ambiental conforme exposto no mapa síntese das condições de saneamento para cidade, também se observou que essas zonas da cidade possuem menor índice de renda e escolaridade. Portanto, é necessário o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas eficazes considerando as necessidades expostas na cidade de Manaus, como a exclusão, segregação e desigualdades socioambientais identificadas.
