Previous issue date: 2012 / Mestrado Profissional em Enfermagem Assistencial / O problema de pesquisa relaciona-se à questão da organização do trabalho no HCTP e as repercussões na saúde do trabalhador de enfermagem. Objetivos: Descrever a prática do cuidar em ambiente confinado e as interferências na saúde do trabalhador de
enfermagem; Identificar fatores de vulnerabilidade na processo de trabalho da enfermagem no HCTP; Analisar as formas como os profissionais de enfermagem percebem sua saúde no trabalho em ambiente confinado do HCTP; Elaborar um manual de estratégias de proteção à saúde do profissional de enfermagem que atua em ambiente confinado HCTP; Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, descritiva, que utilizou para coleta de dados o instrumento de caracterização sócio-cultural dos sujeitos e a entrevista semiestruturada. Para o tratamento dos dados obtidos, foi utilizada a análise de temática de conteúdo, com o levantamento de categorias analíticas, as quais foram fundamentadas à
luz da psicopatologia do trabalho e os princípios da complexidade de Edgar Morin. Os resultados apontam que a forma como está organizado o trabalho no HCTP, interfere na saúde do trabalhador de enfermagem na medida em que o coloca entre duas vertentes: a de custodiar e a de tratar no desenvolvimento de suas atividades. Constata-se que a maioria dos sujeitos foi admitida na instituição através de concurso público, sem o conhecimento prévio do que era o sistema, o que gerou medo, angústia e estresse nestes
trabalhadores. Identificou-se que no dia-a-dia de trabalho o equipe enfrenta limites e desafios na prática do cuidar neste ambiente, assim como mostrou a percepção da equipe de enfermagem acerca dos problemas de saúde relacionados ao seu trabalho e apontou
que a interdisciplinaridade pode ser usada como estratégia para viabilizar o trabalho, além disso, sinalizou para a educação permanente como ferramenta para a qualidade da assistência, e para a qualidade de vida no trabalho no HCTP. Considerações Finais. O diagnóstico situacional aponta para a necessidade de medidas voltadas para a definição do
papel do HCTP na sociedade e na vida daqueles que ali estão guardados: os psicóticosinfratores, a revisão dos poderes que nele atuam e como estes estão alicerçados de forma
a cristalizar qualquer tentativa de mudança de paradigma, repensar a organização do trabalho afim de que este se converta em possibilidades de criação e realização para o
trabalhador e não sofrimento / The research problem is related to the issue of work organization at the HCTP and its repercussions in the health of the nurse. Objectives: To describe the practice of care in a confined environment, and interferences in the health of the nurse; To identify vulnerability factors in the process of
working as a nurse at the HCTP; To analyze the forms that care professionals perceive their health
when at work in the confined environment of the HCTP; To elaborate a manual of strategies to protect the health of the care professional who works in the confined environment of the HCTP; A research with a qualitative and descriptive approach which deploys socio-cultural characterization of
subjects and semi-structured interviews as tools for data collection. With regards to data, an analysis of the content thematic was undertaken, as well as an evaluation of the analytical categories which in turn were examined in the light psychopathology of work, and the complexity principles of
Edgar Morin. The results indicate that the manner work is organized at the HCTP interferes with the health of the nurse insofar as that he is placed between two dispositions: that of caring, and that of treating as he/she undertakes his/her activities. It was observed that the majority of subjects were admitted to the institution through public exam and without prior knowledge of the system which
provoked fear, anguish and stress in these workers. It was also noticed that in the daily practice the team, when caring in this environment, faces limits and challenges. The research unveiled the perception of the nursing team with regards to work-related health problems, and that interdisciplinarity could be a strategy to make work more viable. It also shed light on the role of
education on a permanent basis as a tool to enhance both the quality of assistance, and the quality of life with regards to work at HCTP. Final Considerations: The situational diagnosis points to the necessity of measures directed towards the definition of the role of the HCTP in society and in the
lives of those who are kept there, the psychotic-infractors, to the rethinking of the powers acting within the institution which are harnessed in such a way as to hinder any attempt at a paradigm change, and to the rethinking of the work organization, in order for it to turn into creative possibilities and a sense of accomplishment for the worker, rather than suffering
