Previous issue date: 2000-12-15 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / Vários estudos têm enfatizado a divisão sexual do trabalho doméstico, a relação família-trabalho interligando, assim, as esferas produtiva e reprodutiva. Entretanto, esses estudos não têm refletido a respeito das novas ocupações desempenhadas pelos homens no processo de reestruturação da atividade produtiva. Ou seja, permanece a ausência de análise sobre o significado e as implicações de atividades domésticas, tipicamente femininas, realizadas por homens então no chamado Setor de Serviços. Este estudo tem como objetivos verificar a influência do exercício de tarefas femininas por trabalhadores do sexo masculino, especialmente no que se refere às suas percepções sobre o trabalho doméstico, no seu comportamento no âmbito familiar a partir de sua experiência profissional em empresas prestadoras de serviços em Fortaleza-CE. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de entrevista semi-aberta e de um questionário. A análise foi feita com base nessa entrevista e a partir dos dados distribuídos em freqüência simples. Em relação às possíveis alterações em seu comportamento no tocante ao trabalho doméstico, percebeu-se, que, apesar de realizarem praticamente as mesmas tarefas nas empresas, eles permanecem pouco participantes no trabalho exigido em suas casas. Reconhecem que realizam nas empresas um tipo de trabalho semelhante ao trabalho doméstico, valorizando-o enquanto uma atividade geradora de renda. Para eles, trata -se de um trabalho qualquer e com garantias trabalhistas que não são cumpridas em outras atividades do setor informal. / Several studies have been emplaning the sexual division of the work, the relation family work interligando, kike this, the productive and reproductive spheres. However, toses studies have not been contemplating regarding the new occupations carried out by the men in the process of restructuring of the productive activity. That is to say, the analysis absence stays about the meaning and the implications of domestic activities, typically feminine, accomplished then by men in called him Section of Services. This study has as objectives to verify the influence of the exercise of feminine tasks for workers of the masculine sex, especially in the he/she refers to its perceptions on the domestic work, in its behavior in the family ambit starting from its professional experience in the companies prestadoras of services in Fortaleza-CE. The date were obtained by means of half-open interview and of a questionnaire. The analysis was made with base in that interview and stating from the date distributed in simple frequency. In relation to the possible alterations in its behavior concerning the domestic work, it was noticed, that, in spite of they accomplish the same tasks pratically in the companies, they sta y very participants in the work demanded at its houses. The recognize that they accomplish in the companies a work similar to the domestic work, valuing it while a generating activity of income. For them, it is a work and with warranties labours that are executed in another activities of the informal section.
