Previous issue date: 2017 / A problemática de pesquisa a que nos propusemos neste estudo de dissertação está voltada à
análise do discurso político, mais precisamente, aos discursos proferidos pela Presidente da
República brasileira Dilma Rousseff, durante parte do período de investigações da operação
Lava Jato nos anos de 2014 e 2015. Analisamos a constituição por parte da presidente de um
ethos de resistência e coragem tanto em sua fala, quanto em sua corporalidade além de
investigarmos de que forma os arquivos discursivos do período do governo militar se
relacionam e entrelaçam a sua prática discursiva, durante esta fase de intensas investigações e
manifestações contrárias a sua reeleição e manutenção no poder, tudo isso usando como base
as noções teóricas de Michel Foucault. Apontamos de que maneira esses conceitos se
apresentam em seu discurso como uma defesa de sua inocência e demonstração de força
diante das acusações e situações vividas nesse período que culminou na abertura do processo
de Impeachment. Identificamos, também, os traços de subjetivação presentes na constituição
do sujeito Presidente da República e o funcionamento destes como uma resistência ao que o
determina. O trabalho teve como objetivos específicos o apontamento de uma breve
cronologia dos fatos mais importantes ocorridos nessa fase das investigações da operação
Lava Jato, que coincidem com o período de análise do trabalho, além das regularidades do
escândalo político presentes nesse intervalo de tempo estudado. Analisamos a definição de
arquivo segundo Michel Foucault e verificamos de que forma ele se mostra na prática
discursiva, na sucessão e ordenação dos enunciados proferidos pela Presidente Dilma
Rousseff, além de especificar a conceituação de ethos discursivo, suas variações,
aplicabilidades e importância para a formulação do discurso político. Verificamos ainda, os
motivos da associação da expressão Coração Valente à imagem da Presidente Dilma e a
incorporação do termo na formulação do ethos de resistência em seu discurso. O nosso corpus
de análise é composto por fragmentos de 06 entrevistas e 16 discursos oficiais proferidos pela
Presidente da República durante os anos de 2014 e 2015, período de intensas investigações e
desdobramentos na operação Lava Jato. Utilizamos os pressupostos teóricos da Análise de
Discurso de tradição Francesa como a utilizada no Brasil, pautados fundamentalmente nos
estudos de Michel Foucault, Dominique Maigueneau e Patrick Charaudeau.Com a realização
das análises, identificamos que o ethos de resistência da presidente Dilma Rousseff acontece
sob duas facetas diferentes, em alguns momentos foi uma maneira dela se constituir sujeito
em resposta ao jogo agonístico vivido durante as investigações da Lava Jato e, em outro
momento, apenas quando fala da posição sujeito mulher, ou primeira mulher Presidente da
República brasileira, acontece a subjetivação, uma vez que seu discurso foge totalmente do
que é esperado pelos interlocutores. / The research problem that we proposed in this dissertation study is focused on the analysis of
the political discourse, more precisely, on the speeches given by the Brazilian President Dilma
Rousseff during part of the investigation period of the Lava Jato operation in 2014 and 2015.
We analyze the constitution by the president of an ethos of resistance and courage both in her
speech and in her corporality, as well as investigating how the discursive archives of the
period of military government relate and interweave to her discursive practice during this
period. Stage of intense investigations and manifestations contrary to here-election and
maintenance in power, all based on the theoretical notions of Michel Foucault. We point out
how these concepts present themselves in their discourse as a defense of their innocence and
demonstration of strength in the face of the accusations and situations lived in that period that
culminated in the opening of the Impeachment process. We also identify the features of
subjectivity present in the Constitution of the subject President of the Republic and the
functioning of these as a resistance of what it determines. The specific aims of the study were
to present a brief chronology of the most important events that occurred during this phase of
the Lava Jato investigations, which coincide with the period of analysis of the work, besides
the regularities of the political scandal present in this half time. We analyze the definition of a
file according to Michel Foucault and verify how it is shown in the discursive practice, in
these quince and ordering of the statement suttered by President Dilma Rousseff, besides
specifying the conceptualization of discursive ethos, its variations, applicabilities and
importance for the formulation of political discourse. We also verified the reasons for the
association of the expression Valiant Heart with the image of President Dilma and the
incorporation of the term in the formulation of the ethos of resistance in her discourse. Our
corpus of analysis consists of fragments of 06 interviews and 16 official speeches delivered
by the President of the Republic during the years 2014 and 2015, a period of intense
investigation sand developments in the Lava Jato operation. We use the theoretical
assumptions of Discourse Analysis of French tradition as used in Brazil, based essentially on
the studies of Michel Foucault, Dominique Maigueneau and Patrick Charaudeau. Through the
analysis we have identified that the resistance ethos of President Dilma Rousseff happens
under two different facets, at any times it was a way for her to become subject in response to
the agonistic game lived during the Lava Jato investigations and, in another moment, only
When she speaks of the position of woman subject, or first woman president of the Brazilian
Republic, subjectivity occurs, since, her speech totally escapes what is expected by the
interlocutors.
